Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
ScanFlyGo ("we", "us") operates scanflygo.com, a travel metasearch site that compares flight prices, shows live flight positions, and links to hotel and car-rental partners. Data controller: Lani Eirini, Tenedou 6, 18900 Salamina, Greece. Contact: lv8agency@gmail.com.
2. What we collect — and what we don't
We keep it minimal:
- No accounts, no registration. We don't ask for your name or email.
- Search inputs (origin, destination, dates, guests) are sent to our server only to fetch prices; they are not linked to your identity and are not stored beyond short-term caching.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver the site and prevent abuse (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are retained per Vercel's policy.
- Consent choice. Your cookie-banner choice is stored in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device.
3. Third-party services
Some features load content directly from third parties. When they do, those services receive your IP address and standard browser information:

Aircraft photos are fetched through our own server proxy (planespotters.net does not receive your IP).
4. Affiliate links
When you click "View Deal", "Book now", "Search hotels" or "Search cars", you leave our site and are taken to a partner (e.g. Aviasales, Hotellook/Booking.com, car-rental providers) via the Travelpayouts affiliate network. The link carries our partner ID so we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. From that point on, the partner's own privacy policy applies; we receive aggregate commission statistics, never your booking details or identity.
5. Cookies
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the full picture, including what third parties may set on their own domains.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Greece: the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, dpa.gr). Because we hold essentially no personal data about you, most requests will be satisfiable by confirming we store nothing — but write to us at lv8agency@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
7. International transfers
Our hosting and some third-party services are operated by companies based outside the EEA (e.g. Vercel, USA). Where personal data (such as IP addresses) is transferred, it is protected by the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy framework (e.g. EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where certified).
8. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we knowingly collect no data from them.
